Die GR10J stammt vom englischen Hersteller Hivac und wird außerdem - wie alle Hivac-Nixies - als Numicator bezeichnet. Die Nixie fällt durch ihre relativ große Ziffernhöhe von 30mm und ihr kupferfarbenes Anodengitter auf; zudem ist sie ziemlich selten:
Es existiert eine weitere GR10J, die einen schwarzen Sockelummantelung besitzt, diese Version wird hier beschrieben: GR10J - Version 2.

Hier ist der Sockel (B26A) der GR10J zu sehen; jedoch sind hier in der Mitte nur drei unbeschaltete Pins zu finden, entgegen der GR10G (rechtes Bild) mit ihren unbeschalteten 9 Pins. Wo genau da der Sinn lag, ist heute nicht mehr erkennbar.

The GR10J from the British manufacturer Hivac is also referred to as a Numicator - as with all Nixie tubes manufactured by Hivac. The GR10J Nixie tube stands out due to her relatively large digit height of 30mm as well as the copper-colored anode mesh; the GR10J is a rather rare Nixie tube:
There is another GR10J that has a black heat shrinking tube wrapped around the socket, this model is described seperately: GR10J - Model 2.

This is the base (B26A) of the GR10J; in the center of the outer circle there are only three pins (and these are not connected) whereas the GR10G (right picture) has nine (unconnected) pins in the center. The point of this abnormality is not obvious.
